Wood Chips, Compost & Top Soil

Wood Chips 

Wood chips are available at the Transfer Station located at 8027 Werkner Road, during the hours of 9:00am to 4:30pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Saturday hours are from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Transfer Station personnel will load wood chips into your vehicle at a cost of $10.00 per yard.

Compost

The Transfer Station has unscreened compost ($12.50 per yard) available for sale at their facility on Werkner Road.

Top Soil

The Transfer Station also has top soil ($25.00 per yard) available for sale at certain times of the year. Contact the Solid Waste Department at 734-475-7955 for availability.
