Bulk Pickup

The Solid Waste Department will pickup certain large items curbside, if scheduled in advance. There is a pickup fee assessed based upon the size of the load. Contact the Solid Waste Department at 734-475-7955 for scheduling and fee assessment.

Please do not include mercury (LED) light bulbs and electronics in bags. Bring those items separately to the Transfer Station using the Drop Off guidelines below. 

Drop Off

The City offers trash collection services each Tuesday, however, residents can take trash directly to the Solid Waste Department during its hours of operation. Charges are based upon the size of the load. Large items such as appliances and construction debris can also be disposed of at the Solid Waste Facility. Refer to page two of the City's rate schedule for a complete list of charges based on item.
