WAVE

The City of Chelsea does not have a formal, public transit system however, the Western Washtenaw Area Value Express (WAVE) operates within the City.  WAVE is a non-profit service that exists to provide affordable transportation to older adults, persons with disabilities and other transit dependent individuals in western Washtenaw County.  WAVE operates independently of the City of Chelsea however, the City does provide it limited funding annually as a contracted service.  The WAVE schedule can be found at www.ridethewavebus.org or they can be contacted at 734-475-9494.
