Revenue Reporting

The City of Chelsea has certified compliance with the State of Michigan's revenue reporting requirements under the City, Village and Township Revenue Sharing (CVTRS) program as of December 1, 2017.  The documents or links below provide support for this certification.

This information can be helpful in developing a general understanding of the City, however; it is best reviewed in coordination with other sources such as observing City Council meetings, reviewing the management discussion and analysis in the annual financial reports, monitoring the City website and understanding the City's positions in comparison with similar communities.

Retirement System Summary Annual Report

The Michigan Department of Treasury requires a Summary Annual Report of municipal retirement systems under Public Act 530 of 2016.  The link below provides access to the report submitted to the State of Michigan Department of Treasury outlining the required information for the City of Chelsea closed pension and OPEB systems.
